The "Antica Cantina Umberto Lucà" company in presenting its Cirò Rosso is pleased to say that it is obtained from selected Gaglioppo grapes from old vineyards. Vinified with safe techniques of an old tradition, with jealous reserve, it hands down the secrets of an ancient art.

  • Production area: Cirò - Cirò Marina.

  • Grapes: Gaglioppo.

  • Soil type: Clayey, calcareous.

  • Training system: Al berello.

  • Yield per hectare: 90 ql. - 65 hectoliters.

  • Harvest period:  End of September - beginning of October.

  • Vinification: In thermo-conditioned steel, with soft pressing of the grapes and long maceration.

  • Aging: In steel with a stay in the bottle for a few months before being released on the market.

  • Degrees: 13.00% Vol.

  • Optimal period of consumption: 3 years.

  • Food pairing:  It goes well with tasty first courses and roasted red meat.

  • Serving temperature: 8-10 ° C.
