Selene Bianco

Selene Bianco wine is produced from selected white grapes and vinified with the most rational and modern enological techniques. The perfume, the fragrance, the harmony and the vivacity are the essential characteristics of this young wine.

  • Production area: Calabria.

  • Grapes: Verdeca, Bianco d 'Alessano.

  • Soil type : Clayey, calcareous.

  • Cultivation: Alblow erello.

  • Yield per hectare: 90 ql. - 65 hectoliters.

  • Harvest time: Prhyme decade of October.

  • Vinification:  After natural decantation, the must is separated from the lees, inoculated with selected yeasts, and started for fermentation at a thermoregulated temperature; It is refermented in autoclave with the medium Charmat method. This process lasts about 3 - 4 months and is designed to give the characteristics of a sparkling wine.

  • Refinement:  It rests in stainless steel autoclaves, then it is refrigerated and filtered. Marketing will begin 8 - 9 months after the harvest.

  • Degrees: 12.50% Vol.

  • Food pairing: Accompanies mainly fish-based dishes, appetizers, white meats and first courses. 

  • Service temperature:  8- 10 ° C.
