La Gaia Rosato

The "La Gaia" Rosato wine is obtained from the white vinification of carefully selected black grapes such as Gaglioppo and Merlot. It was created to satisfy, with its color with salmon reflections, with its large and characteristic bouquet, the taste of the modern consumer who is increasingly demanding and looking for something new and particular.

  • Production area: Calabria.

  • Grapes: Gaglioppo, Merlot.

  • Soil type : Clayey, calcareous.

  • Cultivation: A lberello or espalier.

  • Yield per hectare: 90 ql. - 65 hectoliters

  • Harvest period:  First ten days of October.

  • Vinification: After natural decantation, the must is separated from the lees, inoculated with selected yeasts and sent to fermentation at a controlled temperature

  • Aging: 6 months in steel tanks .

  • Degrees: 12.00% Vol.

  • Food pairing: Id eale for shellfish, and fish conchigliacei. It is surprisingly enhanced as an aperitif and in the exclusive preparation of cocktails.

  • Serving temperature: 8-10 ° C.
